David M. Matusz, MD

David M Matusz MD is a fellowship trained spine surgeon who studied with experts in the treatment of complex disorders of the spine at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and with Jurgen Harms at the Klinikum Karlsbad-Langensteinbach in Germany.
He has published and presented at both national and international meetings on treatment of disorders of the spine.  His practice is dedicated to the care of pediatric and adult patients with spinal disorders.
Dr. Matusz was born in upstate New York, graduated from Cornell University and received his MD from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons.  He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and was an Assistant in Specialty Training at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally Dr. Matusz completed a traveling fellowship in spine surgery at the Jurgen Harms Klinikum, Karrlsbad-Langensteinbach in Germany.
