In order to promote the highest quality of surgical services, SurgiCare of Manhattan will: maintain a physical environment conducive to the provision of safe, efficient surgery; ensure that safe and effective equipment and supplies are available for use by SurgiCare of Manhattan’s surgeons and clinical staff; recruit, hire, affiliate with and maintain relationships with qualified, skilled surgeons, other clinical staff, administrative staff, support staff, and other providers; and provide an effective program of quality assurance and quality improvement.

It is the mission of SurgiCare of Manhattan to serve all persons in need of surgical services, regardless of age, color, race, creed, national origin, religion, sex, marital status, disability, payer source, or any other personal characteristic of qualification, including the ability to pay. As evidence SurgiCare of Manhattan has assembled a charitable care and community outreach program through which its physician members will provide free or reduced cost orthopedic services to military personnel, veterans, and underprivileged children.

The freestanding multi-specialty ambulatory center is located at 800 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10017. The facility is on the 7th floor of this building and the space complies with applicable state, federal, and local codes. SurgiCare of Manhattan is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

SurgiCare of Manhattan has entered into a transfer and affiliation agreement with Lenox Hill Hospital for the provision of backup services.
